La Befana is an Italian Christmas tradition that has its origins in the 13th century. Befana is a benevolent old woman who delivers gifts to children on January 5th, the eve of the Epiphany. The program includes a stocking decorating workshop, follow by a special show where La Befana will arrive to tell her story to all the children and distribute candies and gifts to all. Programs are two hours long. Children under age 5 must be accompanied by a parent.
Must register in advance and prepay. Children fee: Members $30, Non-Members $40; One Parent & Child fee: Members $40, Non-Members $50; Special rate for family up to five people Members $60; Non-Members $70.
