Onion calzone is a traditional Apulian recipe that can be found in many variations among family members. Join Chef Cathy as she shares her family recipe, and learn how to make this gastronomic delicacy consisting of onions, scallions, and a variety of other scrumptious ingredients. Once bread and onions were the bread of the poor, today these dishes rediscover all the taste and the flavor of tradition.

Learn the tricks and techniques to make i piatti della tradizione, using all authentic Italian ingredients and recipes passed down from one generation to another. Each class will last about two hours, during which you will taste the featured dish, and take home what you make along with a recipe to replicate it in your own kitchen. Presented by Caterina Maurantonio Blanco. Limited capacity. Must register in advance and prepay. Members $50, Non-Members $60.
