Preparing Pane di Pasqua for Easter is a very popular tradition in many cultures and Italy is no exception! There are many recipes for Easter bread, and it’s known by many names depending on the region in Italy, but it doesn’t matter what recipe you use, it is the shapes that are formed with your dough that make them what they are. This short crust, or pasta frolla, style bread is crumbly, buttery, and sweet with a delightful hint of lemon.
